إطلاق ألبوم ريم بنّا "صوت المقاومة" من بيروت

تحتضن مدن عربية عدّة بينها بيروت هذا الأسبوع إطلاق ألبوم "صوت المقاومة" للفنّانة الفلسطينية ريم بنّا، الذي أنجزته قبل أيّام من رحيلها في آذار الماضي.
ولدت فكرة الألبوم من إصرار ريم على الاستمرار في مواصلة مسيرتها الفنّية رغم الشلل الذي أصاب أحد أوتارها الصوتية وهو يجسّد مقاومتها المستمرّة لمرض السرطان.
أنتج الألبوم إريك هيليستاد Erik Hillestad من شركة KKV النرويجية للتسجيلات الصوتية. وقامت فرقة "حاجز 303" (Checkpoint 303) بمزج بيانات من ملفات ريم الطبية بينها صور الأشعّة وتحويلها الى أصوات، ومن ثم مزجها مع نصوص لريم عن نضالها ومقاومتها تتلوها أحياناً وتغنّيها كلّما كان ذلك ممكناً. ويترافق كلّ ذلك مع ارتجالات على البيانو لعازف الجاز بوجي ويسيلتوفت Bugge Wesseltoft.
يُطلق الألبوم في مترو المدينة يوم الجمعة في 4 أيار 2018، عند الساعة السادسة مساءً ويسبق ذلك:

Description:
Concurrently with other Arab cities, Beirut is hosting the release of Rim Banna’s compilation album “Voice of Resistance” that she completed days before she passed away last March.
The idea of the album is inspired from Rim’s resilience and her determination to pursue her career despite the paralysis of her vocal cord, and it echoes her relentless resistance against cancer.
The album was produced by Erik Hillestad (from Norwegian record label KKV), while the electronic activist collective Checkpoint 303 converted data from Rim’s medical files (PET and X-ray images) into sounds. Rim would later recite -or sing whenever possible, texts of hers that describe her resistance and struggle onto piano improvisations by the jazz composer Bugge Wesseltoft.
The album will be released at Mero Al Madina on Friday May 4, 2018 at 6:00 pm. The event features:
