مسرحية جدية عن كيف وصلنا لهون، ولوين بدنا نروح
جايي على بالكم رحلة عبر تاريخ التطوّر البشري؟ بتحبّوا تستكشفوا مجتمعنا وتعقيداته بطريقة عميقة بس مهضومة؟
هيدا العرض لإلكم. مش ستاند أب كوميدي، ولا مسرحية، ولا محاضرة… شي بالنص.
العرض موجّه لللبنانيين اللي مستحيين من حالهم عالوضع الحالي، و لايمين الشعب اللبناني عليه.
العرض من جزئين. الأول بيحكي كيف وصلنا لهون: طبقة سياسية فاسدة عالآخر، وناس عم تدعم وتصوّت لنفس السياسيين يللي وصلونا للإنهيار. بيستعمل سامي خلفيّته بعلم النفس ليرسم تطوّر أحاسيس الانسان من إيام الديناصورات لليوم، ويوضع حالتنا الحالية بالاطار السياسي العالمي.
الجزء التاني ما بيسأل وين رايحيين، بل وين بدنا نروح. وبيشوف كيف المجتمعات اللي مرّت بفترات سوداء قدرت تحافظ على روحها. مع أنه هيدي مش أوّل مرة لبنان بيمرّ بظروف صعبة، تمكن هو وشعبه يحافظوا على روح فريدة. العرض هو رحلة، تواجه الوضع الحالي، و تمرّ بكتير من المحطات، بالروح، العقل، الثقافة، وروح النكتة، وكل شي مركّبة منه حياتنا الحلوة والمعقّدة.
عن سامي مقدم: اخصائي علم نفس، اشتغل كتير بحقل التروما المعقدة. هو كمان عازف غيتار ومؤلف ٦ البومات، وكاتب، ومحاضر ب TEDx، وعامل فيلم وثائقي عن فلسطين.
ولد سامي بلبنان سنة ١٩٦٧، وأمضى كم سنة بالبرازيل، ومعظم سنين المراهقة بالحرب الاهلية بلبنان، وبعدين عاش بإيرلندا اكتر من ٢٧ سنة. رجع من ٧ سنين على لبنان، ومن وقتها عم يحاول يتصالح مع بلده الأم. هيدا العرض هو محاولة لهل صلحة. من وقت أول عرض لهلق، بلّشوا يصيروا رفقة، مع نفس عدد السحاسيح.

The Evolution of the Lebanese Brain from Dinosaur times until now
A social comedy play by Sami Moukaddem
A thought provoking comedy show about how we got here and where we want to go.
If you fancy an engaging original trip through the history of human development, if you are attracted to exploring the deeper aspects of our society in a humerous and down to earth fashion, then this show is for you.
It is not a stand up comedy, it’s not a play, and it’s not a lecture, but something in between.
It was originally written for the Lebanese who internalised the shame of the current situation. The show is in two parts, the first part traces how we arrived here; a deeply corrupt political system, supported by those who keep voting for the same politicians who brought us to economic collapse. Sami uses his background in psychology to trace the evolution of human emotions from dinosaur times until now, and then contextualises our current situation within global politics.
The second part of the show asks not where are we going, but where do we want to go? It asks how did societies that went through dark periods manage to retain their spirit. This is not the first time Lebanon goes through a dark period, yet there is still a unique soul to both Lebanon and its people.
This is not light escapist comedy. It’s more of a trip with many detours into mind, spirit, culture, gender, Lebanese whackiness, and all that holds together our complex and beautiful lives.
Sami’s background:
Sami is a Counselling Psychologist having worked with complex trauma. He is also a composer and a guitarist having released 6 albums under his name, he’s an author, a TEDx speaker, and has released a documentary on Palestine.
Sami was born in Lebanon in 1967, spent some time in Brazil, most of his teenage years during the Civil War in Lebanon, more than a quarter century in Ireland, then came back to Lebanon 7 years ago. Since then he’s been trying to make friends with his country of birth. This show is his attempt at reconciliation. Since it’s premier, Sami and Lebanon have become buddies with an equal balance of sa7sou7s being passed back and forth.
