Orontes Guitar Quartet Live at Metro

A guitar ensemble from Damascus, Syria which celebrates beauty through music.

Orontes Guitar Quartet:
Quartet's activities have begun since its inception in the mid-summer of 2015 in Beirut under the supervision of the US guitarist Susan McDonald.
Label was relative to the Orontes river which is a Latin word originally means Al-Assi.
The quartet performs many musical styles, including Blues, Jazz, Flamenco, Baroque, Classical, Latin music and Folklore.

Band Members:
Gabriel Al-Botros: A fourth grade student at the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus and holds a degree in Commerce and Economics from Damascus University.
Mohammed Meer Mahmoud: A second grade student at the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus and holds a degree in Music Educations from Al-Baath University in Homs.
Nazeer Salama: A fourth grade student at the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus.
Orwa Al-Shara'a: A fourth grade student at the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus and a third grade student at the Faculty of Information Technology at the Syrian Virtual University.
