VJing & Video Installations workshop with Nadim Saoma
The workshop is made for the digital video enthusiasts. It consists of theoretical/practical and technical/creative sessions. The participants will be introduced to the basics and the advanced video technologies, to give them the opportunity to start a career in performing live visuals and creating or executing video installations.
At the end of the workshop all participants should be able to install, manage, organize and operate visuals for live theatrical shows and video installations. They also should be able to create and play live VJ gigs for musical events and live bands performances.
The participants will have the chance to practice and develop their skills by working on live shows at Metro.
Depending on the participant’s engagement and skill improvements, they might be selected to be part of an advanced visual design and visual content creation workshop.
About Nadim Saoma:
Nadim Saoma has more than 20 years of experience in the visual domain. He completed a major in cinematography and audiovisual studies at ALBA University in 2004; he has been working in the motion picture industry and in the field of visual design since then.
Requirements:
Basic computer experience
Ease of handling computer software
Each participant should have a note book, a laptop and a hard drive
