يرتَكزُ هذا العرض على علامات التَّشكيل -اي الحَرَكات
في اللغة العربيّة، مثلاً، سميت الفتحةُ فتحةً لانفتاح الشفتين عند النطق بها وهذا مشابهٌ للتسليم والانفتاح والعلانية . وسميت الضمةُ ضمةً لضم الشفتين دلالةً على الحب والتقبل. و توحي «الكَسرة» (واصلها الكَسر) بالانكسارِ والتقهقرِ والالم.” فيما تدلُّ السًّكون (من سَكَنَ) على الكتمان والتواري، و هي كالسكينة، خلافُ الحركة، تشبهُ سكونَ القلب.
يحمل العرضُ خطوطاً عريضةً، جملاً ومفرداتٍ وتصاميمَ محددة. كما يشتملُ على مسعى تجريبي يعتمدُ على امكانيةٍ واسعةٍ للارتجال، أو بمعنى آخر ؛التفاوض مع الأنماط التي يحدس بها الجسد. بهذا، فإن كلَّ عرضٍ يختلفُ من ناحيةِ الترجمة الحركية، اي انه غيرُ ملزم ٍبكادرٍ او صيغةٍ ثابتة.
نعم! إن الصوتَ مكبوتٌ، والتواصلُ مقيدٌ بين المفروض ، الممنوع، والمقموع . لقد حانت ساعةُ الفصل لتأخذَ الكلماتُ شكلا ًمختلفاً.
بيوغرافي
نيفين فنانة لبنانية، ممثلة ومصممة رقص، حاصلة على شهادة في الدراما من الجامعة اللبنانية للفنون الجميلة.
تمارس نيفين الفنون القتالية وتقنية الووشو جون, كما تدربت على عدة تقنيات مع مصممي رقص منذ عام 2009, وتعاونت أيضًا مع فنانين محليين ودوليين.
يركز عمل نيفين على البحث في الروابط بين علامات التشكيل في اللغة العربية وحركة الجسد، وكيف تتشكل من خلال السياق الذي يتم التعبير عنها فيه.

A movement performance by Nivine Kallas.
The Movement has a value parallel to the word.
This performance focuses on diacritical marks, i.e. the vocalizations in the Arabic language.The "Fatḥa", for example, derives its name from the opening of the lips when pronounced, similar to surrender, openness, and explicitness. The "ḍamma" is named for the pursing of the lips, symbolizing love and acceptance. The "kasra" suggests bending, retreat, and pain. Meanwhile, the "sukūn" (from the root "sakana / َسَكَن") indicates silence and concealment, akin to tranquility, unlike movement, resembling the stillness of the heart.
The performance carries broad lines, from specific phrases and vocabulary, to defined choreographies. It includes an experimental endeavor based on a wide potential for improvisation or, in other words, negotiating with the patterns sensed by the body. Thus, each presentation of the performance varies in terms of kinetic translation, meaning it is not bound by a fixed framework or formula.
Yes, indeed! The sound is stifled, and communication is restricted between the supposed, the forbidden, and the silenced. The time has come for words to take on a different form.
Biography:
Nivine Kallas, actress and Choreographer, holds a Bachelor's degree in drama from the Lebanese University of Fine Arts. She is a certified practitioner of PSA from Oriantheatre and a Wushu gun martial artist.
Nivine has trained in a variety of techniques with multiple choreographers since 2009, and has collaborated with local and international artists. Her work is centered on researching the connections between the diacritical marks in the Arabic language and the movement of the body, examining how these connections are influenced by the context in which they are expressed.
