"Finally, I’ve decided to maintain the release of my new album Hope is the thing with feathers that was previously scheduled for November 18. In light of the current circumstances, I cannot think of a better time – especially considering that two years ago, I was searching for that certain thing with feathers inside of me and I began to find it in small details in and around me. This is how it started, and today – unexpectedly – dare I say that hope is all around us. It is what we breathe, eat, and love. It is in everybody’s eyes, minds and hearts.
I am delighted to be sharing the new album with you through a free concert at Metro al Madina with my friends and colleagues Fouad Afra, Raffi Mandalian, Arthur Satyan and Philippe Lopes De Sa.

Donna Khalifé is a singer, double bass player, composer, and arranger born in Lebanon. “Hope is the thing with feathers” is her second album after “Heavy Dance” which was released in March 2017.
