Postcards is a dream pop/indie rock band formed in Beirut, Lebanon, by four friends in the summer of 2012. They have just released their first full-length album via Ruptured (LB) on September 13, teaming up once again with producer Fadi Tabbal of Tunefork Studios. ‘I’ll be here in the morning’ is defined by hushed, introspective vocals floating over expansive sonic spaces that shift between harsh noise and dreamy soundscapes. The album will be out online/worldwide on the 26th of January 2018 via T3 Records (DE) and Cargo Records (UK).
The band has previously released 3 well-received EPs (Lakehouse in 2013, What Lies So Still in 2015, and Here Before in 2017), and have been regularly touring Europe, the UK and the Middle East. They also opened for Beirut (2014) and Angus and Julia Stone (2015).
Postcards are: Julia Sabra, Marwan Tohme, Pascal Semerdjian and Rany Bechara.
