Wael Wehbeh is a half Palestinian half Senegalese rapper born and raised in Tripoli Lebanon. Wael got into hip hop culture at a very young age and first discovered rap when he accidentally bought the Carter 2 album for Lil Wayne thinking it was a movie. After that, Wael started getting into the rap culture by listening to a lot of Wayne, Ice Cube, Tupac, Biggie, Andre 3000... Having a background in hip hop, Wael started expressing himself through freestyles and changing lyrics of tracks just for fun with his homie Nash who was a killer producer. From time to time, Wael would write a couple of bars on his notes just because he thought they sounded cool. During the lockdown in 2019, Wael decided to give rapping a shot for self expression and uploaded a track on soundcloud that gave some amazing feedback from friends. Furthermore, he dropped a track everyday for a month and a half just to test his skills. When he saw the positive feedback coming, he dropped his first official track โThe Zoneโ and started following it up with more tracks.
