Live at Metro – Marjaa: The Battle of the Hotels
حفل في مترو – مرجع: حرب الفنادق
Join us for a live performance of Mayssa Jallad’s debut album Marjaa: The Battle of the Hotels and its anticipated return to Beirut. The album is inspired by Jallad’s architectural research on the world’s first skyscrapers’ battle, during the 1975 Lebanese Civil War.
Since its release in 2023, Marjaa has been touring in Lebanon and Europe. Most recent performances include the Transmusicales de Rennes, Institut du Monde Arabe and Biennale d’Aix en Provence.
The show at Metro will be a Lebanon premiere of the performance graphics created by director Ely Dagher for Marjaa.
There will be a vinyl signing at the end of the concert. This performance is supported by Nadi Lekol Nas.
Mayssa Jallad is a Beirut-based bilingual singer-songwriter, architectural researcher and teacher, born in 1990.

– Regular ticket: 25$
