During this challenging period, and after a pause in our programming, we have decided to reopen gradually, with the hope of keeping this space alive in whatever way we can.
This space exists because of its artists, staff, and audiences. Many livelihoods depend on it, and reopening, even in a small way, is also a way for us to support one another.
Even when the world feels heavy, we’ll always find a way to hold each other.
During those hard times, we choose gently to continue, in the hope of never having to stop.
Stay safe, support each other and hope to see you soon. ❤️

Act 1

Inger Hannisdal and Fadi Tabbal play:
“Mellomkrigstid // I wish we had more time”: a collection minimal and sparse music for violin and electric guitar

Violinist and composer-performer Inger Hannisdal’s freefolk explorations combine an experimental approach with an anchor in folk music. Inspired in equal parts from Nordic avant-garde jazz, Arabic maqam and Norwegian folk music, her music is adventurous but not alienating, strange, sometimes raw and gritty, but with melodies emerging with pearl-like beauty. “This is Wicker Man music” -Songlines Magazine.

Fadi Tabbal is a Lebanese musician, producer, and sound engineer whose work consists of minimalist pieces ranging from ambient and electronic to drone and contemporary classical. He released his 6th solo album “I recognize you from my sketches” on January 31, 2025, a deeply personal album that delves into identity, memory, and personal growth. Across ten instrumental tracks, Tabbal weaves a minimalist soundscape shaped by solitude, urban struggles, and the solace he finds through music.

Act 2
Improvised experimental set inspired by the recent sounds of war, and a take on compositions by our band open road archives with our friend Rayan Al fadel on drums.
