Metro Al Madina invites Frequent Defect for a one night showcase of the much beloved Grime and Punishment series.
For this edition, we’re very excited to announce that Toumba and Glitter55 will be joining us from Jordan and Morocco respectively, alongside G&P ruddies junior x DAO and Xis.
Celebrating music as cultural phenomena, this series reveres the weird cornucopia that is grime, the grubby energy of UK garage, and the more recent revival in the regional sphere.
Perceived as a direct untainted and reactive reflection of modern societies and cultures, we’re keen to hear what the commentary on the present situation will be.
Expect trap, grime, bass, jungle, hip hop, rap, footwork, limb work and all kinds of work.
