Let Me Sing & I’m Happy: A Tribute to Shirley Bassey
with Youmna Bou Hadir
This concert is a tribute to Shirley Bassey, the voice that made me want to be on stage as soon as I heard it on tape when I was only a child. The concert features 5 musicians, 2 dancers, and a guest singer, and an introduction video that will be played after the first song. The set list features some of Bassey’s originals, iconic covers, as well as the musical theatre numbers that were made famous only after she sang them.
This concert is not about Shirley Bassey. It’s about how a voice that influenced the world for decades imprinted on a shy, little girl in Beirut and made her believe that one day, she too can take the stage. This concert is about this shy, little girl.

Seating will be assigned by Metro, however, early arrivals may have the opportunity to select their preferred table.

Tickets on sale at Metro Al Madina, Librairie Antoine branches or through Antoine online ticketing.
