Description
After releasing her album Pénte in 2023 and performing it around Athens, Flugen brings the performance to Beirut at Metro Al Madina on May 13th, as part of the Moon Concerts Series. She will be joined by two of her musical collaborators, Alexis Bolosis (Saxophone) and Omar Abozekry (Ney), along with Amandine Brenas on visuals.
The performance will explore the different dimensions of Athens and Beirut, blending improvisation with pieces from Pénte.
The show will feature a visual exhibition, showcasing photos collected throughout Athens, capturing images of destroyed squats, refugee accommodation centers, and burned trees—the cycle of arson and reconstruction.
