Tajalliat
Tajalliyat is an event presenting a curated selection of musical compositions and songs performed by the Tajalli Ensemble. The program reflects a Sufi-inspired style and features lyrics drawn from the works of renowned Sufi poets such as Al-Hallaj, Rabia Al-Adawiyya, Ibn Al-Farid, and others.
BIO
Tajalli is a collaboration between 6 Syrian and Lebanese musicians who met in Beirut. Each one worked and played music for at least 10 years. The band is based in Lebanon, playing original contemporary Sufi Music combined with Sufi poetry. The group now consist of Zakaria Al Omar (Oud & Vocals), Tarek Bashashe (Clarinet), Raghed Nafaa (Cello) , Mazen Ziadeh (Bass guitar), Hadi Dada (Classic guitar), Ranim Bizri (Percussion).
