DAO is a sound engineer and DJ based in Lebanon. He first emerged as co-founder and resident DJ of the now-defunct DMG collective, a key name in shaping the region’s bass music landscape in its early days.
Holding a number of residencies over the years since (Frequent Defect, Ballroom Blitz High Hats), he has cultivated a sound defined by constant evolution, fluidly navigating an eclectic range of influences and moods, all the while staying closely attuned to the shifts and currents of the local circuit. His approach remains rooted in exploration, marked by a commitment to innovation both behind the decks and in the studio.
