A monthly cycle of films is brought to you by Metro Al Madina and picked by film director Rania Rafei.

Under a Theme for every month, Metro will be screening films from different parts of the world; some are new, some are old and some maybe you'll never see again.

November's Theme is MUSIC
We present to you on Monday the 24th of November the screening of Aswaat (2014) a documentary about the Lebanese alternative music scene.

This is a self-produced project and the first part of a series about music and sounds of the Middle-East aiming at enriching the intercultural dialogue by opening window on the Middle-East societies and artists.
Aswaat in Lebanon follows artists such as Mashrou’ Leila, Zeid Hamdan and The Wanton Bishops, capturing the spirit of daily life in Lebanon through interviews, experimental walks in the Streets and footage of home concerts.

Directed and produced in 2013 but finished in 2014 by Aymeric Cattenoz.
