Abraham Brody Live at Metro
Friday February 1st
Doors open at 9:00 PM
Concert starts at 9:30 PM
Ticket: 20$

Lithuanian-American singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Abraham Brody has been compared to artist such as Antony and the Johnson's ANOHNI, Olafur Arnalds, and Bjork.

His unique style mixes contemporary classical with indie and electronic vibes.

'Crossings', music from his new album recorded in Iceland, explores our shared vulnerability and the transience of the generation of millennials.

A collaborator of artist Marina Abramovic, a WNYC New York Radio 'Top Artist of 2017' and hailed by the New Yorker Magazine as 'thrilling and transformative', he mixes crushing atmospheric classical sections, dazzling electronics and synthesizers on top of imaginative, passion-soaked vocal layering. His compositions are deeply influenced by the mythology and spirituality of his roots.

He has performed solo internationally at such venues at the Kennedy Center in Washington, Public Theatre NYC, National Sawdust NYC, the Barbican Centre in London, Southbank Centre London, Reykjavik Arts Festival, Sziget Festival Budapest, and has been featured in the New Yorker magazine, Jazz FM UK, New York Public Radio, and the Independent UK, Icelandic National TV and Radio, Lithuanian National TV, and Harper's Bazaar, among others.
